Created and built Inside Hockey, an internationally recognized online hockey magazine (monthly readership +100,000, subscriber base +25,000).

Manages a team of well over 100 columnists, 20 photographers and 5 editors located throughout North America and Europe.

Established Inside Hockey as a fully accredited publication recognized at all major NHL events, including the Stanley Cup Finals.

Launched a radio show that aired weekly on Sirius/XM, The Team 990 Montreal (ESPN) and Sporting News Radio Boston from 2005-2010.

Set up partnerships with HDNet, Fox Sports, Universal Music, Sony, STATS Inc. and Getty Images.

Established and maintains extensive content-sharing relationship with and the Yardbarker Network.

Built back-end site architecture using Drupal, managing Drupal developers to create custom Content Upload and

Management Systems, including a rapid upload editing interface.

Designed and implemented site migration to WordPress platform to increase site efficiency.

Established auto-publish of story and site updates to social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

Implemented “Hockey Rocks” featuring Five for Fighting, The Cardigans and Sam Roberts to retain reader interest during 2004-2005 labor dispute.

Developed and cultivates extensive social media presence on Facebook and Twitter.

Launched Band Letter, a marketing service firm for musicians that services over 75 clients worldwide.

Designed service that includes newsletter/website design and development, high-end delivery technology, and reporting.

Implements unique strategies to aid artists in cultivating fan bases, selling more music/merchandise, and increase ticket sales.

Utilized a strategic approach at SXSW (Austin, TX) to significantly increase client base and cultivate partnerships.

Manages relationships with hosting company, backend email fulfillment vendor, and template consultants.

Produces front-end and back-end materials for clients, including web site design and marketing insights.


Suffolk University

Suffolk University

August 2008 to Present

Teaches “New Media, New Markets” and “Communication Design,” at Suffolk University, a four-year private university.

“New Media, New Markets” focuses on the seismic effects the Internet has had on marketing and business/society.

“Communication Design” introduces students to the basic tenets of good design, combining lecture/discussion with lab exercises.

Have taught over 400 students.

Nominated for teaching award.

Wrote bi-weekly columns covering the three New York area teams in particular and the hockey world in general.

Delivered publication-ready copy and met stringent word count requirements on extremely tight deadlines.
